- We are blessed in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ
- God chose us in Christ before the creation of the world, to be holy and blameless in his sight
- Even when we were dead through our trespasses, God made us alive together with Christ
- By grace we have been saved
- God raised us up with Christ and and made us to sit with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
- We are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession
- We have the privilege of these things so that we may proclaim the excellence of Him who called us out of darkness into his marvellous light
